Sarasota Military Academy Foundation Family Campaign
Goal: $500,000

SMA Foundation Family Campaign is designed to accomplish the campus and program enhancements needed to make SMA the premier facility that its cadets deserve. The 2012-2013 Family campaign will help support equipping the new three-story building that is under construction; funding for the athletic and music programs as well as various clubs and the ROTC programs. The intent is to enrich and enhance the educational experience for all cadets, now and for future classes.

“Your academy has come a long way over the past ten years. SMA has built a stellar academic program, constructed a new building, and with the help of an outstanding community leader, Mr. Jack Urfer, is now under way to building Phase III of the campus expansion plans. SMA has developed state champions in the Raiders, Rifle, and Drill teams and has one of the best drum lines in the state. SMA is developing its athletic programs to provide a comprehensive educational and development curriculum for the students. And SMA has done this on a limited funding budget from the County. SMA is on a path to unparalleled accomplishments all in an effort to provide a uniquely excellent learning environment for our community’s high school students.” - Headmaster Kennedy
